I have been working with clay for the past twenty five years and feel fortunate to have found a pursuit that continues to inspire and challenge me.
During the early 1980’s I  completed the three year ceramics program at Sheridan College in Ontario where I developed my basic training as a potter/designer.
After college I explored many different directions and found myself fasinated with the possibilities of decorating ceramic tile.  I focused on working with ceramic tile for 10 years which resulted in the experimentation and development of vibrant translucent glazes.
Eventually I missed the exciting tactile process of throwing clay on the potter’s wheel and returned to throwing pots which I glaze using the experience gained from decorating tile.
Currently I create earthenware bowls and platters that celebrate the domestic rituals surrounding the preparation and service of food.
